Lewis Carroll's Chess Wordgame

The large red bandanna is screen-printed with a checkerboard and fanciful border, even some magical mushrooms for Alice. There are 55 handmade letter tiles in each player's color. Players use eight randomly drawn letters for each round of the game, though not all letters have to become part of the scoring word. Any unneeded letters are handy to use as blocking pieces.

For extra style when you play, drape the game cloth over the box like a little table cover. The Mad Hatter never had it so good.

Crossword-like magic squares are a particularly interesting solitaire activity described in the rule book. Very challenging.

"The Oracle" is a madcap game of almost nonsense sentences formed one word at a time. Any number of players can contribute, but mind your spelling and grammar.
