Snowflake Super Square received this mention, with a nice photo, in the January 1986 issue of Games Magazine, in the "Etcetera" feature. At that time its name was "Stockdale Super Square" in honor of the laser shop, Stockdale Technologies, where it was first made. In 1997 we changed its name to "Snowflake," since so many people naturally called it that, anyway.
STOCKDALE SUPER SQUARE
is a set of 36 laser-cut acrylic pieces with heart-shaped interlocks. Rules are provided for seven challenging competitive games and for hundreds of puzzles that require the solver to fit the pieces together in various shapes.
