MemorIQ:
A gallery of gorgeous variations

Most of the solutions above were found by Yonah Borns-Weill. Notice how the 7 blank tiles are symmetrically arranged to give each figure a totally different look All these solutions have complete color-matching wherever two tiles meet.

A special challenge was to try to connect as many colors as possible into one region. Here it's enough if just a partial edge matches. These solutions are by Robin King, and they get more elaborate with each step. Not only did Robin join 3 colors, but two of them can be congruent regions, and the overall shape of the figure can be symmetrical or rotationally symmetrical. For a grand finale, the last two solutions additionally have the fourth color completely separated. If you can find other such amazing solutions, send them to us and we'll add them to this gallery.
