How to order

Selecting your purchases — Our games are displayed in several sections or "showrooms" linked from the Product Index. As you browse through and find games you'd like to purchase, simply click on the green W-shaped Kadon logo following the price. Your selections will be entered automatically into your order (electronic shopping cart). Your purchases are not final until you authorize them at the end of the ordering process.

Viewing your order — To see your order at any time while you're browsing, click on the green logo at the bottom of any category section or on the shopping basket at the top of any product page.

Privacy policy — We never lend, rent or give our mailing list nor any customer information to anyone, not for love or money. Never have, never will. Nohow, no way. Period.

Payment methods — We accept all these forms of payment:

  • Check or money order, in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank.
  • Cash in person only, please.

Shipping costs — The checkout process will prompt you to select the shipping destination from the following chart. The appropriate shipping cost will be automatically added to your order:
  • Within the U.S., the greater of $6 or 15% of order total.
    Please note: Orders in USA during January 2024 get FREE shipping. Amounts shown for shipping on your order form will NOT be charged!
  • For Canada, the greater of $10 or 20% of order total.
  • All other countries, the greater of $25 or 25% of order total.
Occasionally a package may cost much more to ship than these formulas provide and may exceed our ability to subsidize the difference. In such an event we will email you for your acceptance or rejection of paying the additional amount.

Customs or duty fees on foreign orders may be charged to you by your home country when the package arrives. We do not charge or collect these fees and have no information about individual countries' policies. Please let us know if there are limits on purchases in your country, so that we can package your orders accordingly. We've heard of a couple of unpleasant surprises our customers received along with their packages and would like to spare you as much as possible.


Oversize packages — On certain very large and heavy products, we will ask for a shipping surcharge amount to add to the automated shipping formula, so the total to be charged will be higher than shown on your order. Affected products are so marked. They are: If you would like any of these large items and want to save on shipping, please check our show schedule. If we exhibit in your area, reserve your purchase in advance, and we will bring it for you to pick up in person at the show.

Undersize packages — The following products are small or very light and will be mailed first class when ordered singly. Within the U.S., these items' shipping costs are discounted from the standard formula. The minimum shipping rate automatically inserted by our order program will not apply. On these items we will manually discount the shipping by 33%. Thus the total charged will be lower than shown on your order. Affected products are so marked. They are: These discounts do not apply when the items are part of a larger order where the shipping is calculated as a percentage, not a minimum. The percentage saves you more.

Shipping methods — Within the U.S. our preferred shipping method is Priority Mail (U.S. Postal Service), unless you request another carrier. Outside the U.S., we ship by Priority airmail, unless you specify a special arrangement.

We'll be happy to ship your gift orders anywhere in the world. The order form can show only one destination. Where multiple shipments go to addresses in different shipping areas, we will calculate the shipping costs separately for each after your credit card order is received.



Sales tax — For Maryland residents or recipients only, 6% sales tax is automatically added. The checkout process will prompt you to click the appropriate box. We will correct manually any errors before you are charged.

Secure server — We use a secure server, AmeriCommerce, and have our system regularly tested for security to protect your personal and credit card information when you order online. If a message announces the secure transmission, simply click on "continue".

Secure online ordering — Our secure online checkout program guides you to fill in your name, address, credit card number and expiration date, and other relevant data. If shipments are to be sent to addresses other than your own, please enter that information in the "special instructions and comments" section of the order.

If you'd rather order by mail, you can choose the pay-by-check option, and an order page will be formatted for you to print out and mail to us with a check, money order or credit card number. Mail to:

Replacement parts — We offer a life-time guarantee of replacement parts for any Kadon games and puzzles, at a nominal cost. The completeness of a set is essential for its continuing enjoyment and beauty, and we have been committed to our products' integrity since 1980. Simply send us an email or write or phone us with the specifics of what you need: name of product, shape and color of piece required. We'll let you know the cost so you can send a check or money order. If you'd prefer to pay by credit card, you can do so by phone or we'll provide a personalized secure ordering page for you online. Or use PayPal—that's easiest for small amounts.

Printed catalog — You can view and freely print out the 25 pages of our condensed, full-color catalog from the links on the Print Catalog page. It prints fine even as black and white if you don't have a color printer. You can also request a copy to be mailed to you instead. Our mailed print catalog is $4, refunded with your next order.

Giftwrapping — During the Christmas season, November-December, we offer giftwrapping for your gift orders. To request giftwrapping of any specific package, click on style and size desired to enter it on your order form, or just put a note into the special instructions space of your order and we'll add it manually. For giftwrapping other than for Christmas, please inquire.

Gift certificates — At any time of year, we offer gift certificates you can order in multiples of $25. When you order, we mail you a handsome form to fill out and give to your intended recipient, who can then select any item on our website and apply the certificate towards the purchase price.
